PVC Double Union Ball Valve Thread Type

The PVC Double Union Ball Valve is a durable, corrosion-resistant 2-way valve made of  unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (uPVC).

Material: The body, handle, stem, and union connections are made from PVC-U (unplasticised polyvinyl chloride), while the ball seats are made from PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) and O-rings are made from EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer).

The PVC Double Union Ball valve is rated for a maximum of 16bar / 232psi.

• Port Type: Female BSP Thread

• Port Sizes Available in: 1/2" (15mm), 3/4" (20mm), 1" (25mm), 1.25" (32mm), 1.5" (40mm), & 2" (50mm) Female Thread BSP Ports.

Features of PVC Double Union Ball Valve BSP Thread:

• PN16 (16bar) Union valve body made for rigid PVC

• Material: The valve body is made from unplasticized PVC (PVC-U), which is suitable for conveying potable (drinking) water and foodstuffs fluids. It offers high chemical resistance (according to ISO/TR 10358) and a working temperature range from 0°C to +60°C.

• Operation Type: Manual Handle.

• Double Union (D/U) Design: The true double union design allows the central body of the valve to be easily removed for maintenance (e.g., replacement of the PTFE ball seats or EPDM O-rings) without needing to dismantle the entire piping system..
