Granular Silver Nano Fridge Filter Triple Kit with 5 µm & UF Membrane
Upgrade your fridge’s water and ice supply with the Silver Nano Fridge Filter Triple Kit, engineered for homes where water purity and appliance protection matter most. This system blends three sequential filtration stages:
The Silver Nano Fridge Filter Triple Kit is installed behind the fridge and is easy to maintain.
The Silver Nano Fridge Filter Triple Kit will remove sediment, mud, dirt, rust, and chlorine, and inhibit the growth of bacteria.
The Silver Nano Fridge Filter Triple Kit has a bracket so it can be wall-mounted.
The Silver Nano Fridge Filter, like other carbon-based fridge filters, will remove chlorine and organic molecules (bad odours and tastes) from water. However, unlike other standard inline fridge filters, the activated carbon is impregnated with Silver nanoparticles.
Standard carbon filters have a major vulnerability: they trap organic matter, creating a dark, wet, and nutrient-rich environment. This turns the inside of a regular filter into a perfect breeding ground for bacteria, forming a slimy layer called a biofilm. This is why the normal fridge filter cartridges need to be replaced every 6 months* or so, due to the potential growth of organisms on the carbon.
The Silver Nano filter's silver nanoparticles use a bacteriostatic process to help both inhibit and prevent the growth of bacteria on the carbon's surface. Silver nanoparticles continuously release tiny, positively charged silver ions (Ag+). These ions bind to the negatively charged cell walls of bacteria, weakening the wall and causing the cell to rupture.
So while your typical standard carbon fridge filter has a lifespan of 3 to 6 months*, a Silver Nano Carbon Filter's lifespan will be 6 to 12 months*.
*Please keep in mind that the lifespans are based on municipal quality source water, and in situations with very poor quality source water, the lifespans of these filters will be far less.

Triple Fridge Filter Kit Stages:
Stage 1: Inline Sediment Pre-Filter
Installed first in the water feed line, this filter removes visible particles such as sand, rust, and large debris — protecting subsequent filtration stages and your refrigerator’s internal water circuit.
Stage 2: Silver Nano Fridge Filter
The Silver Nano Fridge Filter, like other carbon-based fridge filters, will remove chlorine and organic molecules (bad odours and tastes) from water, restoring fresh flavour and clarity to your fridge water and ice output. Silver nanoparticles impregnanted into the Carbon also helps to inhibt / slow the growth of Bacteria Inside of the Filter Cartridge.
Stage 3: Hollow-Fibre Ultrafiltration (UF) Membrane
The final polishing stage uses a hollow-fibre UF membrane rated down to ≈ 0.2 µm with a typical flow of about 540 L/h, removing ultra-fine particles, bacteria, and suspended matter without altering mineral content.
Also, please note the UF Membrane does require flushing before use. Attach the filter system to the source water and let the water run through into a bucket until there is no more residue flowing. If there is still some residue after connecting to your fridge, please repeat the process.
By combining all three stages, you gain a comprehensive fridge-filtration chain: robust pre-filtration, taste & odour refinement, plus high-precision UF barrier blocking bacteria and other microparticles. The result is great-tasting water and ice, extended cartridge life, and enhanced protection for your refrigerator’s water system.
Installation is straightforward using standard ¼″ tubing. Replace the sediment pre-filter as required (depending on water quality), replace the taste/odour cartridge every six months (or sooner if needed), and the UF membrane annually for optimum performance.
Note: Do not use with a water source that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.

Keep in mind:
- The UF Membrane requires quite a long flush, typically 20 - 30 minutes to remove all the preservatives that give a bitter taste.
- If the water in your area is of poor quality, you may want to consider the Home Reverse Osmosis System or the Home Ultraviolet Filtration System.
- The 5 Micron Sediment Filter, Generic External Fridge Filter, and 0.2 Ultra-Filtration sets need to be replaced every 12 months. Keep in mind that the 24-month life span is based on a good municipality quality water, depending on the quality of your water source, the life span of the filters may be a great deal less.
- Minerals are too small to be removed by the filters in this filtration unit. Should this be a concern, consider installing the Home Reverse Osmosis System.
Silver Nano Carbon Block versus Granular Silver Nano:
The Silver Nano Carbon Filters come in two different versions: Silver Nano Carbon Block & the Granular Silver Nano Carbon.
Both versions will remove Chlorine, organic molecules, and sediment. And both versions use Silver Nanoparticles to help inhibit and prevent the growth of bacteria inside the filter.
There are, however, several key differences between them;
Carbon Dust and Flushing Time:
The Granular Silver Nano Filter contains loose, individual granules of carbon (think of it like coarse sand or coffee grounds). Because the particles can shift and rub against each other during shipping and handling, they create a lot of fine carbon dust. That's why it requires a longer initial flush—usually a few gallons or several minutes—until the water runs clear.
Whereas the Silver Nano Carbon Block uses the same carbon and silver nanoparticles, but it is instead compressed with a binding agent into a solid, rigid block. Because the carbon is locked in place, there is almost no friction between particles, resulting in drastically less carbon dust and a much quicker flushing time.
Filteration Effectiveness:
Because Granular Silver Nano Carbon (GAC) consists of loose particles, water will naturally find the easiest path through them. Over time, water carves a literal "channel" through the granules. Once this happens, the water rushes through that single path, bypassing most of the carbon and silver, drastically reducing the filter's effectiveness.
The Silver Nano Carbon block, on the other hand, is a solid, uniform wall of carbon. So water cannot create a shortcut; it is forced to pass evenly through microscopic pores. This ensures maximum contact time with both the carbon and the anti-bacterial silver nanoparticles, resulting in a much more consistent filtration effectiveness over time.
Both the Silver Nano "Block" Fridge Filter and Granular Fridge Filter also come in several versions:
