    Plastic Pressure Protection Valves

Plastic Pressure protection valve (or Pressure-limiting valve) is typically installed inline before water components (such as filter systems, filter housings, plumbed-in water dispensers, etc)  using 1/4" piping, to protect the components from damage due to high-pressure or water "hammering".

The plastic pressure protection valves are all set to a specific pressure rating, which the valve will not allow the water pressure to exceed. The maximum pressure setting is either 5 bar (70psi) or 2.7 bar (40psi), so the valve will not allow the water that will go to the components to exceed the rated maximum pressure.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS VALVE IS NOT RECOMMEND for under-the-counter Reverse Osmosis (RO) or Nano FIltraiton (NF) systems, as it will reduce the pressure too much preventing these systems from working correctly.
