Generic Fridge Filter Dual Kit with 5 Micron Sediment

This combination provides higher-quality water than the typical "single-stage" fridge filter — built for homes where water quality matters. The system works in two key stages:

Dual Fridge Filter Kit Stages:

Stage 1: Inline Sediment Pre-Filter
Installed first in the water feed line, this filter removes visible particles such as sand, rust, and large debris — protecting subsequent filtration stages and your refrigerator’s internal water circuit.

Stage 2: Generic External Fridge Water/Ice Cartridge (Activated Carbon)
The second stage targets chlorine taste and odours, fine sediments, and organic contaminants, restoring fresh flavour and clarity to your fridge water and ice output.

Together, these stages form a seamless dual filtration chain: coarse pre-filtration followed by targeted water/ice treatment. The result? Fewer maintenance worries, improved water taste and ice clarity, and enhanced protection for your refrigerator’s internal water circuit.

Keep in Mind:

Please note that there is no barrier for bacteria in this option. If bacteria is a concern in your water supply, have a look at the triple-stage version of this product, which does have a barrier for bacteria.
With quick-connect fittings designed for standard ¼″ tubing, installation is straightforward. Replace both filters according to usage and water quality — typically every 6 months for the fridge cartridge and when needed for the sediment pre-filter — and enjoy reliable performance in your kitchen.
The UF Membrane requires quite a long flush, typically 20 - 30 minutes to remove all the preservatives that give a bitter taste.
If the water in your area is of poor quality, you may want to consider the Home Reverse Osmosis System or the Home Ultraviolet Filtration System.
The 5 Micron Sediment Filter, Generic External Fridge Filter, and 0.2 Ultra-Filtration sets need to be replaced every 12 months. Keep in mind that the 24-month lifespan is based on good municipal-quality water; depending on the quality of your water source, the lifespan of the filters may be a great deal less.
Minerals are too small to be removed by the filters in this filtration unit. Should this be a concern, consider installing the Home Reverse Osmosis System.

Note: Do not use with a water source that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
