The Generic 1/2" / 15mm Male Valve Head for Pentair Everpure & Generic Filters is engineered for durability and efficiency.

This valve head is designed to be compatible with both the original Pentair Everpure Cartridges, as well as the Generic Alternatives to the Everpure Cartridges.

**Please note, however, that unlike the Pentair Original QL3B Valve head, the generic does not include a built-in shut-off valve to halt water flow through the valve head, when replacing the filter cartridge. It is recommended that you install a separate inline valve to shut off the water before the valve head, in order to replace the filter cartridge.

Installation Tips:

Installation: 

• Mount the head vertically on a flat surface, ensuring the cartridge hangs down.

• Allow at least 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) of clearance below the cartridge for easy replacement.

• Flush the filter by running water through it according to the cartridge instructions before use.

Maintenance Recommendations:

• Replace cartridges every six months or when capacity is reached to maintain optimal performance.

• Monitor for any decrease in water pressure, indicating the need for cartridge replacement.

• Always flush the filter cartridge at the time of installation and during cartridge changes to ensure water quality.
