YourPure - Dual Filter Kit - 5um, KDF, & UF MembraneourPure - KDF / UF Fridge Filter
The YourPure Filter cartridge is a Combination Inline Filter with KDF, Activated Carbon, Phosphate, and hollow fibre ultrafiltration (UF) Membrane.
The YourPure Filter cartridge contains two "modules", which screw into the inside of YourPure's "shells". This means that when it comes time to replace the filters, you simply replace just the modules inside the shell, and not the whole unit every time.

How does it work?:
The two modules used inside the YourPure Inline Filter unit are a KDF/GAC/Scale Inhibitor (Green) and UltraFiltration (UF) Membrane Module.
Dual Fridge Filter Kit Stages:
Stage 1: Inline Sediment Pre-Filter
Installed first in the water feed line, this filter removes visible particles such as sand, rust, and large debris — protecting subsequent filtration stages and your refrigerator’s internal water circuit.
Stage 2: YourPure Module 1: KDF/GAC/Scale Inhibitor Module
This module uses a mixture of different filteration media:
- KDF: Filters chlorine & heavy metals
- High-quality granular activated carbon: Filters chlorine and odor. Iodine value > 1000
- Metsorb HMRG: Filters out lead and heavy metals such as Arsenic, Mercury, Cadmium, Copper, Antimony, Uranium, Zinc, Selenium, Chrome+6
- Phosphate: Inhibits the generation of scale.
Stage 2: YourPure Module 2: Hollow Fibre Ultra Filtration Membrane
Ultrafiltration (UF): UF membranes are made up of Hollow Fibres that typically filter down to between 0.1 to 0.002 microns, depending on the grade of the UF Membrane. This is small enough to capture/remove fine sediment, particles, proteins, bacteria, and larger organic molecules. UF membranes will allow dissolved salts, minerals, and smaller organic molecules to pass through the membrane. So the UF Membranes will not change the mineral, salt, or hardness content of the source water in any way.
