*Please note that all our Ultra Violet (UV) Ballasts are designed to fit Germicidal UV Lamps (Bulbs) with 4 pins on one side, and no pins on the other side of the lamp. These ballasts will not fit on the Germicidal UV light lamp, with two pins on either side of the lamp.

The Standard UV ballasts are not water or dust-proof in any way, and so should not be installed outdoors without some form of cover or protection from the elements. Please note the UV ballasts' warranty does not cover damage caused by moisture or dust.
The germicidal UV Light ballasts' warranty does not cover damage caused by power surges or lightning strikes. Installation of a surge protector before the UV Ballast is always recommended to protect the ballast.
