Pentair Everpure i4000² Cartridge (EV9612-37)
The Everpure i4000² Cartridge (Part Number: EV9612-37) is a specialized replacement filter cartridge designed for commercial ice machines. It is the Premium-level model in the "Insurice" series, built to ensure your ice is crystal clear and your machine stays free of scale.
The "Insurice" series of Everpure filter cartridges has several cartridges available, depending on ice machine capacity and flow rate requirements:
- i500²: Is designed for Small Commercial Ice machines with a capacity and production rate of a maximum of 90kgs / 24 hours
- i2000²: Is designed for Medium Commercial Ice machines with a capacity and production rate of a maximum of 285kgs / 24 hours
- i4000²: Is designed for Large Commercial Ice machines with a capacity and production rate of a maximum of 365kgs / 24 hours
Micro-Pure® II Media, this enhanced media inhibits the growth of bacteria within the filter, which is important for hospitality environments where machines may sit idle overnight.
Micro-Pure® II Media filters the water down to 0.2 microns. This helps to capture submicron particles and sediment, as well as capturing some organisms, bacteria, and cysts present in the water.
Bacteriostatic: It uses AgION™ antimicrobial protection to inhibit the growth of bacteria within the filter itself, helping to reduce bio fouling and extend the filters lifespan.

Keep in mind:
- i4000² Cartridge will not change the mineral content (TDS) in any way.
- i4000² Cartridge does not remove fluoride or heavy metals from water.
Installation Tips:
- Install vertically with the cartridge hanging down.
- Flush the cartridge by running water for 5 minutes before use.
- Ensure a minimum clearance of 6.5cm below the cartridge for easy replacement.
Maintenance Recommendations:
- Replace the cartridge every 6 months or when capacity is reached.
- Monitor for any drop in water pressure — a sign the cartridge needs replacing.
