Pentair Everpure AC Cartridge (EV9601-12)
The Pentair Everpure AC Cartridge (EV9601-12) is a classic, high-performance filter cartridge designed for premium drinking water and cold cup beverages.
The AC Cartridge is a classic activated carbon-based filter absorbing chlorine, organic molecules (bad odours), and capturing sediment (particulates). The AC Cartridge also features Precoat Submicron Technology. This means that the activated carbon has been compressed into a tight, and solid block structure, filtering the water down to 0.5 microns. This helps to capture submicron particles and sediment, as well as capturing some organisms, bacteria, and cysts present in the water.
The Everpure AC is designed for domestic single-point drinking systems and inline (plumbed-in) water coolers (Cold Water Only).

Keep in mind:
- AC Cartridge will not change the mineral content (TDS) in any way.
- AC Cartridge does not remove fluoride or heavy metals from water.
- AC Cartridge will not prevent scale (kalk) buildup.
Installation Tips:
- Install vertically with the cartridge hanging down.
- Flush the cartridge by running water for 5 minutes before use.
- Ensure a minimum clearance of 6.5cm below the cartridge for easy replacement.
Maintenance Recommendations:
- Replace the cartridge every 6 months or when capacity is reached.
- Monitor for any drop in water pressure — a sign the cartridge needs replacing.
- Always flush the new cartridge before use to ensure peak performance.
