The Manual Backwash Valve Head can be used with several different Filtration Medias such as Activated Carbon, Silica Sand, Birm, Iron Removal Resin, Crystal Sand or AFM Glass Media. 

The Manual Backwash valve Head allows you to manually backwash out sediment, dirt, rust, and other large particles that are caught between the media granules. 

The Manual Backwash Valve Head will only fit FRP vessels with the 2.5" Ports; it will not fit ships with 4" Ports.
