LED In-Tank Germicidal UV Light (Vertical Type) 

In-Tank Germicidal UV Light helps to control and prevent the growth of bacteria inside your storage tank.

The Vertical Type Germicidal UV Light is designed to be "fixed" to the lid or top of the tank, and then hang in the center of the tank.

The in-tank UV light has a lifetime of 10000 operating hours, then needs to be replaced.

Keep in Mind 

• The In-tank UV light does require electricity to operate. The In-Tank UV Light does not come with a storage tank. 
• The Quartz Sleeve and UV bulb are made of glass and can be damaged if mishandled. Take great care when transporting and installing the in-tank Germicidal UV Light 
• The Effectiveness of the Germicidal UV light is directly influenced by the clarity of the water around it. If there is a great deal of dirt, sediment, and suspended particles then the UV light's effectiveness will be directly affected. If your water does have a high amount of dirt and particles present, then we would recommend placing some type of sediment filter before the tank, such as a Disc Filter, Triple Big Blue System, or AFM Glass Media Vessel. 
• While the LED UVC Lamp will address organisms in the water such as bacteria, depending on the source water quality, the water inside of the storage tank may not be fit for human consumption due to other elements such as heavy metals, total dissolved solids, etc. If you are using a non-municipal source water (such as a borehole), then it is highly recommended that you have the water tested first, to ensure that they are no other elements present in the water, that would make it unsafe to drink. It will also not necessarily kill everything as it needs direct light of sight. 
• Note that this light is mounted to the tank; it can't hang from its wire or be placed completely in the tank.
• It also shouldn't be mounted in the incoming water stream or horizontally as this might damage the quartz sleeve.
