    Low-Density Polyethylene Tubing (LDPE) - 8mm (ID) x 10mm (OD)

Polyethylene (PE) tubing is one of the most widely used plastic tubing materials in the world thanks to its balance of flexibility, durability, low cost, and high chemical resistance.

LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene): Highly flexible, lightweight, and easy to route around corners, though it is rated for lower pressure.

    Key Physical & Chemical Properties

    • Chemical Resistance: Excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents, and alcohols. Non-reactive with water.
    • Flexibility & Weight: Highly flexible (LDPE/LLDPE), lightweight, and easy to cut or bend without specialty tools.
    • Temperature Range: Typically -40°C to 65°C (-40°F to 150°F) depending on density. Higher grades can sustain slightly higher heat.

    Keep in Mind

    • UV Resistance: Standard clear/natural Low-Density Polyethylene Tubing (LDPE) degrades in direct sunlight. Ideally, if you want to install the piping outdoors, you should look at the carbon black-pigmented PE.

    Sizes Available:

    • LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene) Tubing 4mm (ID) x 6mm (OD)
    • LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene) Tubing 6mm (ID) x 8mm (OD)
    • LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene) Tubing 8mm (ID) x 10mm (OD)

    Primary Uses & Applications

    1. Water & Beverage Lines:

      • Reverse osmosis (RO) drinking water systems.

      • Commercial beverage dispensers, coffee equipment, and ice makers.

    2. Pneumatics & Fluid Transfer:

      • Low-pressure air controls, instrumentation lines, and automated equipment lines.

      • Transferring harsh industrial chemicals, acids, and liquid fertilizers without degradation.

    3. Agriculture & Irrigation:

      • Drip irrigation supply lines and hydroponic feeding systems.

    4. Laboratory & Medical:

      • Sample transfer lines, drainage, and non-critical medical gas lines (requires medical-grade PE).
