3/8", 1/2", & 3/4" Supply connectors and ball valves
1/2" Supply connector
This fitting is typically used to connect an Under-the-counter Filter system to a 1/2" (15mm) water source. For example in most households, the supply connecter will be connected in between the angle valve and flexible hose that feeds cold water to the tap. The water will then still flow to the normal tap, while the 1/4" or 3/8" ball valve that "T-ing" out from the connector, will supply water to the filter system.
3/4" Supply connector
This fitting is typically used to connect an Under-the-counter Filter system to a 3/4" (20mm) water source. For example in most households, the supply connecter will be connected in between the angle valve and flexible hose that feeds cold water to a washing machine or dishwasher. The water will then still flow to the normal tap, while the 1/4" or 3/8" ball valve that "T-ing" out from the connector, will supply water to the filter system. The 3/4" Supply Connector includes a "blank" fittings, which is used when you want to connect to a wall-mounted mixer tap, with the cold side having the 3/4" connector with the 1/4" hole, and the hot side having the " blank" this means the mixer tap can be move forward from the wall evenly.
3/8" Supply connector
This fitting is typically used to connect an Under-the-counter Filter system to a 3/8" water source. For example south of the Newer households and residential complexes have moved over to the 3/8" standard for their flexible hoses, due to the tap (faucet) designs used. The 3/8" supply connecter will be connected in between the angle valve and flexible hose that feeds cold water to the tap. The water will then still flow to the normal tap, while the 1/4" or 3/8" ball valve that "T-ing" out from the connector, will supply water to the filter system.
