F63C3 Automatic Softener Valve Head - Time and Flow (4m3/h)
The F63C3 Automatic softener valve head is designed to work with a residential / semi-commercial size water softening system, for removing hardness (lime/calcium/magnesium / kalk) from water. The F63C3 Softener valve head can be set to regenerate after a certain number of days, or it can be set to regenerate after a certain volume of water has passed through the softener.
The F63C3 comes with a flow meter fitting which allows it to monitor how many Litres have passed through the softener.
The F63C3 Valve Head can then be programmed to initiate the regeneration cycle after a certain amount of Litres, or Gallons, or Litres Cubed have gone through the water softener unit.

- The F63C3 Valve head uses a digital control and timer to automatically go through the various stages of a water softener's regeneration cycle.
- The F63C3 Valve head is very easy to program and operate. The F63C1 has a clear LCD screen with easy-to-press buttons.
- The F63C3 Valve head comes with a built-in capacitor, which helps to save the valve head's settings for around 3 days if the power should fail. If there is no power for longer than this, then the valve head will revert to the factory settings.

Selecting Venturi Injector Insert Colour for Runxin Softener Valve
The venturi in a water softener is a vital part of the brine draw system, responsible for pulling saltwater (brine) from the brine tank into the softener’s resin tank during regeneration. It works based on the Venturi effect, where fast-moving water through a narrow nozzle creates suction, this suction then pulls the brine mixture from the brine tank in to water softener's vessel.
A venturi injector insert is a small, crucial component located inside the softener's venturi. The venturi Injector insert controls the rate at which the brine mixture is drawn into the softener's vessel. The larger the Injector insert's port and o-ring are, the faster the brine mixture is drawn. And the smaller, the slower the brine mixture will be drawn into the water softener.
The different sizes of Injector Inserts are colour coded; the correct colour for a water softener will depend on the width of the FRP Vessel used for the water softener. The FRP Vessels are typically rated in inches, Normally, this information can be found on the label on the side of the vessel, which typically states something such as 8x44, which means the vessel is 8" (width) by 44" (Height). So you would then use the 8" (width) as your indicator, which in this case would mean a " Yellow" Injector insert is required for that size softener. .jpeg)
PLEASE NOTE that the softener valve comes standard with the Green colour Injector Insert, which is meant for larger FRP vessel sizes (16"), and may cause issues with smaller FRP vessels when regeneration takes place. Please note that FIltershop cannot be held responsible if the incorrect injector size is selected for your Softener's vessel size. Canvas Protective Cover for Runxin Valve Head
The canvas protective cover slides over the top of the valve head, helping to protect it from moisture and dust. The canvas cover has a clear plastic front, so you can see the valve's LED display without needing to remove the cover.
