10" Big SSG Anti-Corrosion Systems
The 10" Big SSG Anti-Corrosion Systems offers long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion in high-demand water systems. Filled with specialized SSG Anticorrosion media, it helps extend the lifespan of plumbing, filtration units, and appliances by reducing the impact of aggressive or untreated water.
The SSG Anti-Corrosion Systems are an excellent choice for corrosion borehole or rainwater sources with high flow rates and volume needs.
*Please note that this system is only meant for single-point applications, such as before a single domestic geyser. It is not meant for a whole house, or large industrial applications.
What is SSG Media?
SSG is an Anti-corrosion media that prevents corrosive/acidic/low pH water from creating buildup in piping, fittings, and geysers (Usually copper/galvanized). The media works by dissolving inside the housing and flows into the piping to create a layer on the piping that prevents corrosion more effectively than siliphos. Please note that although SSG's corrosion prevention is stronger than Siliphos's, it does not have any effect on kalk/lime/hardness of the water as that is a result of Higher pH water entering the system.
Key Features:
Powerful Corrosion Control: Filled with SSG media to reduce rust, corrosion, and scale in water systems.
Longer Lifespan & Fewer Replacements: High media volume means extended service life and less frequent maintenance.
Protects Entire System: Shields plumbing, filters, geysers, and appliances from corrosion damage.
Quick & Easy Installation: Drop-in cartridge design makes setup simple and maintenance tool-free.
Broad Use Case: Suitable for municipal and rainwater systems in homes, estates, offices, and light industry.
Specifications:
Dimension: 32cm x 19cm x 19cm
Filter Media: SSG Anti-Corrosion granular media
Flow Rate: Approx. +/- 1500 Litres Per Hour (LPH)
Operating Pressure: Max 6 bar (87 psi)
Operating Temperature: 5°C – 45°C
Function: Reduces corrosion, rust, and mineral scale buildup

Maintenance Tips:
Inspect the system periodically for changes in flow or water clarity
Replace the cartridge every 6–12 months, or as needed
Install vertically for best media contact and flow efficiency
Flush the cartridge for 2–3 minutes on first use to clear loose media
